Buon Appetito Papa — Restaurant in Tokyo

Another hidden gem in Sasazuka. The food quality was surprisingly good especially for the price.

I had the lunch pasta and salad set for 1100y. The tarako spaghetti had a firm yet chewy texture covered in a healthy serving of creamy tarako sauce and lots of scallops. The caesar dressing might be homemade as I haven't tasted anything as good from a bottle in Japan. This was the perfect topping for their crispy fresh salad, though I would have enjoyed it a bit more with croutons.

The atmosphere is stylish and spacious and the service was quick and friendly.

They only drawback (IMO) was that the lunch menu was rather small. 3 pastas, 3 pizzas, and 2 salads from which to choose.

This is a place where you can eat delicious fresh pasta. The restaurant is very clean and bright. During lunch time, a set of salad and pasta is offered for 1000 yen. A drink can be added for +150 yen. The freshly boiled pasta is glutinous and very tasty. The salad in the set was also made with very fresh vegetables. A large portion is available free of charge, so even men will be satisfied. The restaurant is close to Sasazuka station and easy to get to, so I'm sure...

If you are trying to choose whether to go to an inexpensive big chain restaurant or this one. I would rather prefer go to Buon Appetito for sure!
