Many annoyances, but overall livable. Ground floor felt like a cave. It's a great place if you are spending most of your time outside the unit other than for sleeping. No nightstand, no place to hang towels outside of the shower, only one pillow each. The headboard was the window, so leaning up against it is sketchy. Can't open toilet, shower or fridge door if one of the other is open already. Someone around here smokes occasionally and it comes in. Steps, so be aware of that. The desk has stools with no padding, so if your doing remote work, its probably not going to work long term. Although there is space for 2 at the desk, you both have better taken a shower. We didnt both work at the desk as we are larger, and working from the bed kind of sucked. The service, although remote, was really good. They accommodated a super early check in as they don't really have luggage storage, and they were available when we had issues figuring out the door code, even though the instructions were good, we still had our own issues. I might stay here again if the price was great, but would prefer something more comfortable. Wifi is excellent.has a.washer, but the shower is the dryer. We had to buy detergent. Last place.we stayed with a washer provided it for Travellers, i am not sure which method is normal, but traveling with your own bottle of detergent...
Read moreThe room is nice and a big plus were the appliances. With a microwave, fridge, water kettle and stove you have all you need. Another big plus was the shower which had a good water pressure and hot temperature.
Negative for us was the check in which was unnecessary complex. Why not ask the questions before hand so we can answere on a pc or mobile instead of the check in screen. Unfortunately all the devices are in Japanese and no English explanation. There are some Japanese explanations on how they work, but they are not translated.
Also in the room is a air circulation module (not sure what to call it, not the AC). Cold / fresh air from outside comes in through the device which is not bad itself. But the device is directly above the head of one bed. So one person is always getting cold air from above. Which leaves you feeling like you caught a draft in...
Read moreThis was a very bare bones room, that I had planned to stay at for a week, but after checking in and finding that there was no elevator, with newly built building, and then seeing how little space was in the 2 twin bed room that we had rented, we decided to leave after the one night due to such a long day of travel to get there. There are not many hangers if you planning to do laundry (can use the dryer in the shower area, but 4 hangers for an entire week? Need more hangers to air dry.) Also the quirkiness of have to have two codes to enter your room, one for the main entrance and then the one for the room too. Made sure to take a photo before leaving the main entry when first...
