I’ve known about this place for some time but finally got around to going. Super homey feel to the inside, as it feels like you could be sitting at your aunt or grandma’s place with all the cozy decorations. The coffee was a little weak for my tastes, but the cheesecake was superb. I’m not sure the hours are correct as the owner may just close up shop when she’s ready. Definitely worth a visit.

気になったことが数点あります。 ペットOKですが、入った瞬間店内がかなりケモノ臭いです。ペットOKなところは色々行ったことありますが、臭すぎると思うので何か対策した方がいいと思います。この中で食べるのはちょっとと思いつつも、入ってしまったし、疲れていたので滞在しましたが食べ物の美味しさも半減します。 あと、パンケーキ頼んで待っている時に、店員さんが奥の方から冷凍のパンケーキがたくさん入った透明な袋(ゴミ袋みたいな大きさ)を担いでキッチンに入って行ったのが見えてプロ意識が低いと思いました。お店の方針は色々ありますが、まず手作りじゃないんだと思いがっかり。 それを見たからとかではないですが、パンケーキもべちょべちょしてて美味しくなかったです。 キッシュは普通です。 お店の家具や雰囲気だけはいいです。

Cafe Crumpets is a cosy little place serving short eats, coffee and a choice of tea. It’s one of the few pet friendly places so you might just find a tiny poodle cuddling up at a table next to you! I tried Crumpets with maple syrup and it was delicious. I will surely get back there for more, could be some hot pudding on my plate next...

ペット可。 6月の初めに犬を連れて伺いました。 ランチのキッシュは野菜がゴロゴロ入って塩気がちょうど良く美味しかったです。 デザートに季節限定のチェリーパイを注文。ホイップクリーム？とバニラアイスが乗っかっていました。クリームとアイスで甘い上にメインのチェリーも甘いので、全体に甘さだけが強く感じられる単調な味わいでした。 どこか一部に酸味が欲しかったなぁ。そしてパイ生地が水分が飛んでウニョッと潰れるだけで固くて固くてなかなか切れなかった。

店内にはオシャレな小物が飾られて眺めていて飽きません。雰囲気はいいです。

が、この日外はとても暑くて店内も全然涼しくありませんでした。 冷房きいてませんでした。席が悪かったのか送風モードだったのか壊れていたのか分かりませんが空調どうした？ 汗がジトっと吹き出して愛犬も終始舌を出すしで蒸し暑い中での食事になりました。 外に出たら、外の方が涼しくて生き返りました。 野菜のキッシュは...
