Chef Daniel is a good man & a wonderful person to be around. As an American living in Japan, spending time with Daniel in his restaurant was like a slice of home. Daniel is extremely hospitable & caring. He treated us like more than just customers.

The salad dressing (homemade) is quite delicious. The pizza is incredible. The ambiance of the restaurant & the staff are remarkable.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place & about Chef Daniel. Thank you for everything, boss! I wish you & yours nothing but the best & I hope to cross paths again...

After 9 days full with Japanese food, I craved a piece of pizza. This place was just next to my hotel so I gave it a try and I didn't regret it at all!

The pizza dough was light and savory. It was more on the thin side but not the crispy thin, more like "thin so you don't feel guilty afterwards".

The server was a nice Japanese lady who didn't speak English but the chef (I assume it was Chef Daniel?) spoke fluent English and was very helpful so you don't have to worry if you don't speak...

Chef Daniel is a great guy, lots of personality and very hospitable to foreigners, he makes you feel at home. The food was all really tasty as well, I had the shrimp pesto a caesar salad and a pizza all of which of which were absolutely delicious. The alcohol was also really good for ¥550 all in all him and his staff provided a 5 star experience, I will definitely be coming back the next time I find...

Dining at Chef Daniel’s Japan was a great experience! The food is flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. What impressed me most is how many local Japanese people were dining here — always a good sign the place is loved by locals, not just tourists. The service is warm and attentive. Highly recommended if you want something truly authentic with a refined twist.

Very cute Italian restaurant run by a Canadian chef. I’m happy to have stopped by at this place - our tummies were too full from the afternoon snacks so unfortunately a main was all we could fit into our tummy. The house wine is reasonably priced (JPY550 for all alcohol including tax) and it’s oiishi. I’d certainly love to visit again if I’m in the area.
