Only 10 seats downstairs but 16 seats upstairs. Kind of a flat food-oriented decor, but still feels more like an izakaya with the emphasis on drinking. Tone of a real Indian dive and one of the staff members indicated it was so. Relatively broad menu, but a bit expensive and the drinks were extra, but I went with the 2-curry set since there was a water pitcher on the table. He was willing to share the Wi-Fi password, but the signal was too weak upstairs and I had to use my own. Strong AC and okay Covid precautions. Despite being more expensive than regular two-curry combos at other Indian places, here, you get three pieces of kebab, three curries and a yogurt fruit salad. Add to that, naans are unlimited, making this, one the best deals I’ve seen in Tokyo. As far as the quality of food goes, I like the taste: it’s not overly spicy and the flavours come out just right. Despite being a concept lost amidst all the Nepalese-curry places, individual dishes ought to taste different! ‘Taste of India’ delivers on that requirement. I’m a regular, and I find that the food is always tasty and the customer service is nice if not excellent; from the corner of my eye I see customers being welcome and...
