If you're looking for a good atmosphere coffee shop near the gardens, theee are others near Komagome Station. The big thing to come here for is the dessert. •Dessert: 5 stars- 3 words: American. Pumpkin. Pie. The dessert here is quite wonderful, and I was delighted to find American pumpkin pie (not kabocha) pie in mid-October. What a slice of home! •Hot drinks: average. Cafe latte and houjicha latte were both fine! •Sandwich (of the day): average. The taste was pretty good, and fresh. But I think I could make it at home. The sandwich set gets you a half sandwich. The roast beef might be more worth it. •Service and atmosphere: 3/5- The lineup procedure is disorganized. There's nowhere to sign your name, and the queue doesn't actually go in a straight line down the sidewalk. The staff hurried out and asked #3 to stand on the other side of the sidewalk, creating a bottleneck for people biking by. cute little cafe with a great menu. Order on the first floor and if you’re eating in they have nice tables on the 2nd floor. They make sandwiches that look tasty, but me and my friend just ordered carrot cakes, and coffee and tea. Their portions are good. And I guess bc we went in right when they opened at 11:30am, the cakes had just been taken out of the fridge so it tasted like it had just been taken out of the fridge, kinda frozen.
