An excellent Tan Tan Men shop. Tan Tan Men is not typical Japanese ramen, but instead a spicier and more onion heavy ramen which more closely resembles Chinese ramen. It’s most popularly served with ground beef, instead of typical pork slices, which can make the ramen eating difficult. But shop provides slotted spoons so you can get a every bite of the good stuff without having to drink all of the broth. You may want to though as it’s pretty good! The boiled gyoza they serve is excellent as well and pre-seasoned with a tasty and tangy dipping sauce. Finally while staff did not speak English to me, they provided an English menu and came around the front of the counter to covertly ask if I was okay with my chopsticks lol. I thought that was a very nice touch that they went the extra mile to be considerate, as they had no idea if I was a tourist or not. Great service, great food. Only downside would be the shop is quite small but that’s typically of most ramen places. I would not recommend it for large groups or those with small children. Excellent air...

A must-go place every time I visited Tokyo, though it is a bit far from the city centre but it worths. (the surrounding residential neighbourhood is good for a walk before/after meal)

Best Sichuan/Szechwan Noodle (Tantan-men) you can have in Tokyo, perfect in detail, inculding noodle quality, soup, side dishes, sauce etc.

Must Try: Tantan-men of course; Steamed Dumpling (delicious secret sauce, can't find anywhere else in Tokyo); Half-boiled Egg (unlike those in Ramen shop, it is in Chinese Tea Leaf Egg favour); Sautee Meat Mince (can be found on top of the noodle, but you can also order a small bowl of Meat Mince Rice to taste it); Steamed Chicken (flower pepper flavour with spring onion, not a common dish can be found in other Tantan-men or Ramen place). and all...

It is my favourite local ramen shop. They have spicy ramen that is actually spicy. They have different levels of spicy that you can choose from. I think the ramen was inspired by Sichuan (Szechuan) cuisine since they use a lot of numbing spices. You should definitely try it if you love spicy food. If you go around lunch time, you can get a bowl of rice for free with a purchase of a bowl of ramen. We tried the dumplings and they were ok. I would stick to...
