Apparently the menu changed from the lunch menu to the dinner menu after we placed our order, so they canceled it and made us pay more for the same items on the dinner menu. 3. The steak was far overcooked. 4. The rest of the food was much too salty. 5. The photo of the veggie plate looked very fancy with a flame-heated dip but the dip had no flame, just a luke-warm bowl.

Nakano is a busy district right after Shinhuku station. Now under heavy overall rebuilding, Nakano has plenty of eating options in the station near by buildings. Flows is one of them. The salad with chicken is well served nevertheless the chicken fried level is pretty close to raw. But this strange cooking point for chickens is quite common in Japan: for my Western taste is little weird, nether cooked nor raw. That is also an alert for my fellow Americans to not expect crispy, well seasoned chicken :but is just the Japanese taste.

The food, for their serving size, is actually quite affordable. The taste is good too. The cocktails are a little too sweet for me but taste good nonetheless. We wanted to do the outdoor grilling but because of the rain, we decided to just eat inside, and no regret to that. The ambiance inside is good. Staffs are also very attentive.

Ordered a steak plate from the lunch menu. Wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked: maybe it’s a thing in Japan.
