Ganryu — Restaurant in Tokyo

Second time here. The food is fantastic especially the tongue with the chopped green onion. The waiter was super friendly and, even though I know how to make Yakiniku, he helpfully showed us how to cook their specialty.

Get the 3800 yen course and order the matcha/umeshu ice cream.

Wanted to edit my review to add more details on how great the course is. The amount of food was perfect and the order of the course is really nice and ends with you feeling very satisfied and comfy inside. The meats are all high quality, and even the salad and pickles at the start...

I’ve been to a lot of yakiniku places in Tokyo and this is by far and away the best so far. It was my local yakiniku place before I moved and it’s the one thing I miss from Ekoda. This place set the standard for me. Seriously, just go and get the course. Get the cold corn tea....
