This little cafe is delightful. The food was delicious and seemed fully homemade. Very homely and simple but that’s not a big negative at all. Its location is directly opposite the Ghibli Museum and the park, allowing lively vibes and views. Water is only provided in bottles you pay for, which is a fair bit more expensive than bottles of water from train station kiosks by almost 3x. We ordered the omelet sandwich which was delicious and the Ume Kakigori which was so simple and delicious! Other example food options were; hot or cold ham and cheese sandos as well as a croquette sandwich Note that the owner can be a bit cold towards tourists and requests that each individual has to order their own separate drink to sit in the cafe.

If you're visiting the Ghibli museum and looking for a cozy coffee shop to wait in, I highly recommend checking out this gem just across the street. I arrived early for my reserved entry time, so I decided to stop in for a coffee. I chose a seat facing the window and watched the rush of cars and people while it was raining outside. Sitting in this coffee shop felt like a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you find yourself waiting in line to enter the museum, I recommend stopping by this coffee shop to taste their delicious coffee. The ambiance is perfect for relaxing and taking a break from the crowds.

This little cafe is delightful.

The food was delicious and seemed fully homemade, right down to the pickles on the Cuban. It is a bit spartan, but that’s not a big negative at all. Its location is directly opposite the Ghibli Museum and the park, allowing lively vibes and views.

Water is only provided in bottles you pay for, which is a fair bit more expensive than bottles of water from train station kiosks by almost 3x. But besides that, it’s a great place and the Cuban was well worth the 1000 yen. Honestly…but that Cuban!

Other example food options were; hot or cold ham and cheese sangas, and something that sounded like a sandwich croquette? Seemed like it...
