Jalk Coffee — Restaurant in Tokyo

Amidst a few uninspired shops in the area, Jalk Coffee stands out as a sophisticated and wonderful coffee shop. This time I got takeout, but I've enjoyed drinking coffee in here about twice before. The interior, tableware, everything is consistently styled with Nordic brands, creating a calm and mature atmosphere. Of course, the coffee is just as delicious as I expected, and the owner is very knowledgeable and always happy to share insights. If Jalk Coffee wasn't in Nishi-Eifuku, I probably wouldn't live here.

Can’t bring PC here. Please respect...

Amazing coffee, hand made chiffon cakes, free wifi, local artist's work, nice interior, great service. What more can I ask for?

ちょっと気が利かない。 小さいお店でこじんまりやっているのはわかるのですが、気が利かない。 着席した時、メニューは持ってくるけれど水は持ってこない。 その後も客の方に注文を取りに来ないので、こちらから呼ばないといけません。 本当に小さいお店ですから、店員が客に目を配ろうと思えばいくらでもできるはずなのに。 また、メニューに「本日のケーキ」と書いてあるので、内容を聞いてもその場で答えられない。

その場で答えられずモタモタするなら、メニューの書き方を工夫してほしいですね。

おそらく豆について聞いても同じことでまたモタモタ待たされるのだろうと思って、メニューに書いてあるものにしてしまいました。 また、おかわりをした時に違う豆で頼んでいるのにカップを替えてくれなかったことにも、とても驚きました。 豆の香りにこだわりがあったら、普通そんなことはしないでしょう。

なんというかそういうオペレーションの部分で、無駄にフラストレーション溜まります。
