Shimotakaido Ōzora Park — Attraction in Tokyo

There is a large oval track, and you can run, jog, and walk there. I like there in the early morning with refreshing air and view. Some people enjoy picnic in the centre of the oval. There are public bathrooms, simple equipments for stretching and that for kids, drinking water, vending machines, and even indoor seating in the management building. I personally like that food trucks come here. They come randomly. I saw a bakery, a hamburger shop, fairy floss shop, and African Ghana restaurant.

It’s just my suggestion for those who don’t like dogs. It’s better to avoid to come here around 6:00-7:00AM and before sunset. Many dog owners are there and some of them let their dogs run...

A lovely, big new park that was built on land acquired by the municipality from the Tokyo electric company. It has a nice running course, a few outdoor gyms, an ocservatiry building with children play space, clean public bathrooms both indoor and outside, a new playground, a rock garden and most importantly - a huge patch of grass right in the middle to play on. Nice park to chill. An open space with grass to lie on and benches. It has a playground area for kids, vending machines and public restrooms. It’s especially beautiful around the sunset time. At the weekend, you can expect it to be crowded, with kids playing with balls and kites. You can cross the park on bike using some hard lanes they have. They also have bike parking spots.
