La Ohana Hawaiian Dining and Cafe — Restaurant in Tokyo

I am actually from Hawaii so here’s my input. The vibe, portions, menu, atmosphere, staff are excellent. It’s pretty similar to what you’d get in Honolulu.

It’s a nice place to relax. It smells like coconut when you enter.

We did not wait at all. Plenty of seats on a weekday after 3 pm.

I like the salads and pancake. It’s an extra fee if you box the left over food. We ordered a little too much since we were starving 😅

I was a little disappointed in the ribs. I expected thick juicy TGIF style with sweet vinegary BBQ sauce… but it tasted like Chinese style ribs with sweet and sour sauce. I was mislead.

The fried shrimp had shells, which might ruin it for some people. I’d still eat it anyway.

Total bill was under 10,000 yen.

Anyway, this is my favorite place to have meetings or catch up with friends....

First of all, expect a ridiculous waiting queue at peak times ! But in return this restaurant will seriously safe you the flight ticket cost. Everything that we tried was super yummy.

We tried Salmon Poke, Loko Moko with hamburger or steak, Cheese burger, Cobb salad, Salmon Avocado salad, lemon pasta, pilafu with steak, banana smoothy, choco banana parfait, coffee, the mega pancake with the fruits and more...

(Skip the dark mocca smoothy if you expect a thick chocolate taste).

I kid you not, we went there three times within the same week ! PLUS in addition we even took the take out option for eating it later the same day, how crazy is that !?!
