Had the standard dry tantamen. Noods really good, flavor also good as in subtle with a tiny tad of punch. Standard version is perfect if you want to intrudce someone into this style imho. Smaller portion of noods so go big serving if you're hungry. Ajitama tamago (egg) was different, it was cold and not creamy and tasted like odd sake. Still I do recommend this place especially if you want to try dry/soupless and something different, and/or intrudce someone to this style as it's more flavor than super spicy. Edit: After good answer from owner/representative I've adjusted some wordings.

Had the #7 as takeout and it surely was a great bowl of tantanmen. It is spicy but at a good level and you can enjoy all the flavors of the soup withoup your mouth getting numb. Found this place on the last day of ny stay in komagome and i wished i found it earlier since I wanted to try the other items on the menu. Strongly recommended!

A famous tantanmen place in Komagome. The taste is wonderfully delicious. Highly recommend the first one on menu (汁なし without soup) if you can eat spicy food. You can also ask the shop to modify the spiciness for you.
