Matsuba Zushi Tatsumi — Restaurant in Tokyo

Absolutely amazing, especially if you want an authentic local experience of a small sushi restaurant.

The couple who run it could not be more welcoming and friendly - and that includes the locals too. We had two “standard” sushi’s plus seafood tempura and could hardly finish it. The sushi is made fresh in front of you (try to get a table at the bar).

On my first trip to Japan and this was the best meal I've had by far! Everything tasted amazing! The staff was extremely friendly. They were so kind to me and my family. When I dreamed of coming to Japan, I wanted to find a restaurant just like this place. It has been open for over 50 years and the owner/chef took over from his father. If you are looking for an authentic sushi restaurant, look no further. You will not be disappointed! The price was very affordable and we ordered a lot of food. Loved everything about this place. We visited a local car store "A PIT SUPER AUTOBACS" and we randomly found this location on Google maps. It was off the beaten path, but we said, "why not?"

My group and I loved the atmosphere, they did everything they could do to make us feel welcome as it seems to be a locals restaurant. The food was amazing and this is a must go when I return.
