Ramen BARIO Toyosu — Restaurant in Tokyo

Only one staff member when I visited this ramen store. I believed he was the chef. As I don't speak Japanese, I came here prepared to order the biggest one: their ramen for men, with lots of noodles, braised pork belly, scallion, and a marinated soft boiled egg. As I can't understand what chef tried to said when he asked me, in Japanese, how I wanted my ramen, he switched to English when I apologized for not understanding Japanese. Yet, as I was not quite sure what was happening, I answered "Yes" to his question. Then, I got a super huge bowl of ramen with piles and piles of toppings. I can't even see the noodles and the soup when he put that bowl of ramen in front of me. Well, that was on me, so I tried my very best to finish that gigantic bowl of ramen. There was a moment I felt like I was sitting in an eating competition. After I swallowed my last bite, I can barely walk!!

Regarding the food: Yes, the soup base was very thick with strong flavors of meat and fat. Perhaps I am not 100% Japanese, and have spent my life mostly in the US. So, to me, the soup was already very flavorful. I had to take turns drinking water and having the soup, in order to prevent from being overwhlemed by the strong taste. Now, an hour after the meal, I can still taste the soup in my mouth! The braised pork belly was super tender, they literally melted in my mouth. Those piles of shredded scallion also added tanginess to the taste profile. The only thing that I was slightly surprised was that the soft boiled egg was a bit on the hard side, wtih egg yolk about 90% cooked. But, overall, I really like this ramen store, and will take my friends here to experience this...

The friendliest ramen in Tokyo for foreigner. The service was 10/10 and the duo was very helpful. Noodles was good sering. The broth soup was good.

Will come back again if i ever visited Japan and this area. Totally worthed... Walking distance to our hotel. You can see empty bowl that how good it was. The duo even give me more soup when i asked.... Kudos guys

この日は仕事が少ないので半休で上がり 朝4時に出勤したので8時で上がりになったので前から行ってみたいと思ってたAPITオートバックス東雲へ

この時間にこちらを出ると丁度開店時間くらいに着くので行ってみることにしました。

下道で約2時間くらい掛かりました。 都内の道は間違いやすいので最近購入して車に付けたケンウッドのカーナビを頼りに向かいました。 カーナビで案内してもらっても都内は車線とか多く何度か間違いそうになりながら 何とか無事到着！

立体駐車場に停めて店内をサクッと見ていたら丁度お昼時！

職場で二郎系の話をしていて丁度食べたいと思っていて食べログ検索するとドンピシャで こちらがヒット！

オートバックスから歩いて10分掛からず歩いて行けそうなので行ってみることにしました。 スマホナビで てくてく歩いて行くとお店にたどり着きました。

外にある券売機にてラーメン大900円のボタンをポチッと！ 予習ほぼ無しで大はヤバいかと思ったけど 朝4時から仕事してたので お腹が空いて居たので つい押しちゃった(^-^;

自分が開店ポールだったようでカウンター席しか無い店内の1番奥へ陣取ります。

プラスチックの食券をカウンターに置くと トッピングはどうしますか？このタイミングで聞かれます。 卓上を見るとニンニクは置いてあるのでヤサイとアブラをコール！

待つこと5分程でカウンター越しに渡されます。

出てきたビジュアルは こんもり山盛り！ 一瞬やっちまっタイガーか！？と思いましたが食べ進むと大盛にしたけど麺の量もヤサイの量もそんなに多く無くて少し物足りないくらいだった。

ヤサイも少しシャキシャキ感が残ってる感じで良いですね！アブラは少し大きな塊だけど甘くて旨いです。

麺は二郎系特有の ぶっとくゴワゴワ食感！ スープも塩っぱくなく二郎系としては丁度良い。 少し食べて隙間を開けた所へニンニクを投入！これを入れなきゃね！ 途中ブラックペッパーを振って味変！ 更に食べ進んだ所で お店お勧めの辛味を投入！ 少し辛くなって味変にはなるけど やっぱりノーマルで食べる方が二郎系を食べた感じがするなぁと自分的には辛味は入れない方が良いかなぁ～と感じた。 最後の方にチャーシューを食べると厚みはそんなに無いけど しっかりとした味付けで旨いチャーシューですね！これ増しにしても良いと思うくらいに旨いチャーシューです。

スープも半分くらい飲んで ごちそう様！

全く予習無く この店へ来たけど中々美味しい二郎系に出会えて良かったです。

自分が入ってから すぐに客が どんどん入って来て ほぼ満席に近い状態だったので人気店なのでしょう。
