My wife and I arrived at 11:15am on a Thursday and were able to get the last two open seats at the nine person counter without waiting. (Within five minutes after we arrived there were eight people waiting.) We were eager to try the omakase menu for 1,700 yen since we cannot afford to go to the original Sukiyabashi Jiro in Ginza. The meal consisted of an appetizer, soup, 10 pieces of sushi and two hand rolls. A nice value at a good price. I’m not a sushi expert and don’t pretend to be but the sushi here beats any of the conveyor belt sushi places I’ve been to at approximately the same cost.
