Best Tantanmen in Fussa. I don't want to put that out there as this place is crowded enough...

They do a little bit of everything. I am not sure when dipping noodles became the thing in ramen. Either forever, or I just never cared to notice. But I will say their dry noodles are good too.

I really can't just say this is good that is good, so here are some highpoints. The Tantan. The soup is thick, so consider thinning it out with hot water. As I said in the beginning, the best in Fussa. You'll find chunks of walnut in it. Just incredible. The chasiu he uses is also incredible. An awesome smokiness to it!

The owner is an incredibly nice guy. He hooked by son up with an extra egg and will show you the proper way to eat the dipping noodles.

There are a few parking spots out front, but it is limited, as is the counter space. If you had to pick one place in Fussa to try, this is it. This is where I take everyone for ramen if it is their first or only time here. And never have I...

Absolutely love Menya. It’s owned by a a single man who usually has one or two assistants working with him. It is cash only and you pay using a vending machine. You select your meal and then give your ticket to one of the workers there. You seat yourself and wait for your food. Most people do not usually talk during their time here due to minimal seating room.

Most people try to be courteous and respectful of the the people waiting for food. The shop has different dining hours depending on the day. He usually has the hours posted on the door for that current month.

Sometimes, he will bring you a small gift of fish salt as a way to say thank you for dining and eating.

This is my favorite place to get ramen in...

This is hands down the best ramen I’ve ever had—and I don’t say that lightly. The owner’s passion for his craft shines through in every bowl, and I’d rank this as one of my top five dishes of all time. Having traveled to dozens of countries across multiple continents, I can confidently say this ramen stands out on a global scale. The fact that this place has anything less than a perfect five-star rating is beyond me.

I highly recommend the spicy ramen with the extra spice sauce—it’s an unforgettable experience. A close second is the spicy dry ramen, which is equally incredible. If you’re a ramen lover, this spot is an...

One of the best bowls of shoyu ramen I've ever had. I tried the special shoyu ramen with wontons. The soup was flavorful and not too salty. It came with two types of roast pork (fatty and lean. Both were tender with a mild taste) and chicken, which had a good, slightly smoky taste. Wonton had Good flavor. The atmosphere was quite calm and very welcoming. Parking is avalable. I will definitely return!

Was in the area and dropped in for a quick lunch. Was well worth it, great ramen shop, nice atmosphere, clean modern (not like your regular ramen shops) with nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the special soya sauce ramen at ¥1,200 that had generous portion of pork compared to most Tokyo ramen shops. Would happily go back for that. 1-2 parking spots outside, cash only (like most others).
