Great specialty cafe in a refurbished house! As it is a specialty cafe, they only have 2 menus in general, single origin or latte. But here’s the catch, they have various kind of beans, and since they are manage by Glitch, you can trust their quality! ((Although it will be perfect if you sell some snacks as well, just like the one jn Jimbocho 🥹))
You can choose your seats inside the house or in the garden. Their concept is a communal area to hang out and chit-chat, so don’t be surprised if the seats seems so close and facing each other ((I think other than the limited space reason, this is also the concept they try to showcase))
The building it self is an old house that is scrapped from the wall finishing, but keeping the structures there so you could see how Japanese house looks like. It gives a nice touch of unfinished concept, also with the cats footprint on the front door area. They also have some coffee, art, architecture and culture related inside the house.
Just make sure you don’t come with empty stomach and expecting some desserts, because you are here to enjoy the atmosphere and a cup of coffee. That’s...
Read moreSadly very disappointed about this place. The atmosphere and the house itself (which may seem in a forgotten state) have a nice vibe and the garden can be a good place to sit and enjoy. I went on a cloudy, rainy day and there wasn´t anybody. However, the girl at the store seemed like she definitely didn't want to be there, or hated her job (or both). Since we got there she made us feel like our presence was not comfortable to her. Finally, we ordered only one drink (prices between ¥900-1200, somewhat high) and since we were two people, she automatically implied us to have it as takeout, although there wasn't a single person in the shop. In terms of product, the coffee was very good (the only reason why I am not rating it with 1 star), which is a shame because I cannot go back to try anything else given the attitude of...
Read moreA large portion of the building exterior (probably interior as well) is water damaged and moldy, inevitably because they poorly renovated the house with unfinished wood materials where obviously exposed to rain. Lack of common sense, and that’s not cute. The coffee is pretty great, but I don’t know how sanitary the environment is. There’s a line on weekends but that’s not because it’s super popular, it’s because the ordering system is deliberately made inefficient where you have to point the beans because they place no actual distinct names on the menu items (who does this really?). People may think it’s cute, but lack of professionalism isn’t my...
