Onibus Coffee in Nakameguro, Tokyo, is a delightful discovery for coffee enthusiasts like me. I recently visited and had the pleasure of trying their V60 coffee, which left me thoroughly impressed.
The V60 coffee at Onibus is simply divine. It's brewed to perfection, boasting a rich, aromatic flavor that tantalized my taste buds. The balance of acidity and sweetness was spot on, making it a must-try for anyone who appreciates a well-crafted cup of coffee.
What sets Onibus Coffee apart, however, is not just its exceptional brews but also the charming ambiance of this small coffee shop. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere is perfect for enjoying your coffee and immersing yourself in a serene coffee-drinking experience.
My personal favorite spot is on the second floor. From there, you can watch trains pass by, adding a unique touch to your visit. It's a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, allowing you to enjoy your coffee while soaking in the local surroundings.
The staff at Onibus Coffee are friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or simply looking for a relaxing place to unwind, Onibus Coffee in Nakameguro is a hidden gem that should not be missed. I'll definitely be returning for more of their exceptional V60 coffee and the tranquil atmosphere. Highly...
Read moreAnytime you search up local coffee roasters, one that always seems to pop up is Onibus Coffee. It was a bit out of the way for me, but boy was it worth it.
First lets talk coffee. I ordered pour over Columbian. It was solid, good flavor, hit the spot. Picked up a bag of beans (review coming up)
Second the hours. Its one of the spot that is open nice and early. Lots of seating (but half of it is outdoors, so rain or snow, you maybe limited).
Third, and probably outshining the good coffee, is the view. Head upstairs to find a small seating area that overlooks the trains that pass through. With great music, good coffee, it was certainly an amazing experience.
Overall Kel rating: ★★★★★/5 The good: Combination of good coffee, amazing seating area, great customer service (they gave me a breakdown of where they source their beans) The decent: seating can be very limited upstairs. The ugly: Can be on the pricier...
Read moreOnibus Coffee shows up on nearly every coffee blog and listicle that you can possibly read, so we were naturally inclined to go since it was cherry blossom season. We were anticipating large crowds and even longer lines, but luckily we visited right when they opened and we were able to order and find a seat upstairs within minutes. We were glad to find that Onibus lives up to the hype, and it was well worth the trek. The coffee is solid, and the surrounding neighborhood is extremely charming. The main attraction, as everyone already knows, is the upstairs seating space that overlooks cherry blossoms and an above-ground subway track that goes right by the cafe. It’s super cozy and an extremely picturesque spot. Needless to say, there were groups of people eagerly waiting to snap a photo by the windows, so peace and quiet are difficult to come by if that’s what you’re seeking. Well worth the hype, would...
