(*SEE BOTTOM FOR IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING LUGGAGE STORAGE)
Clean, quiet, tiny efficient hotel.
Seems like mostly local people from Asia and Japan? Not really for western tourists IMHO.
You should be self sufficient. It’s not a place for tourists with big expectations, questions and needing a lot of help. Use Uber to book your own transportation needs.
You should be tech savvy as there is only a self check in and out kiosk process. Rooms are tiny and can be a little claustrophobic so you should be a small person and not large :) Just know that you will not necessarily get a room with all those windows in pics you’ve seen. Most rooms have just 1 window like mine. You cannot make requests for a floor or room preference because you will get whichever room the kiosk assigns when you check in. Please do not ask to change a room if you don’t like it as it cannot be changed. The luck of the draw.
Staff is kind and pleasant.
Rooms are tiny and better for 1 person. We are a couple…one person has to climb over the bed to get off because there is no space and the mattress is up against the wall. We had to take turns in the morning to get ready. The other had to go to the lobby and wait. Toilet area is small and separate from small shower stall.
There are no outlets for charging in the lobby. You will get 4 hangers in the room. There are only 2 hooks where you hang the 4 hangers. Nowhere else to hang more than 1 wet towel or anything else. All of your clothes and things end up in a high pile wherever you can put it. It’s very bare minimum. Makes sense because the room is small.
Breakfast is just a toastie and tea/coffee.
Please note: There is NO PLACE TO STORE LUGGAGE AFTER CHECK OUT because there’s not enough room for this small hotel to accommodate that. If you require it, this may not be the hotel for you.
During “night time/sleeping hours” there is no hanging out and socializing in the lobby. The hotel is small so I’m gathering that it’s done for consideration to the hotel guests as sound travels. It’s their policy so respect it or don’t stay here....

This is really important. It’s not a place for excited tourists with big expectations, excitement, entitlement and a lot of questions and needing help. No helping with translations, suggestions, or reservations. As English is also very limited. It’s not that kind of hotel.||||You should be tech savvy with the self check in and out kiosk process.||Rooms are tiny and little claustrophobic so you should be a small person and not large. Read moreI stayed in prince Smart Inn Ebisu for 18 nights.|First the positive points:|1. I loved the location in Ebisu. Really convenient for the the metro, nice mixture of shops, coffee shops, restaurants and residential and off the tourist path.|2. The rooms are small, but I liked mine. The tiny desk is in a dark corner but they gave me a lamp on request.||What I didn't like:|1. They say they give seamless service; NO SERVICE would be a better description.||There is almost never anybody at the little reception desk. Checking in and out are automated. If there is someone he or she mostly does not speak English.||There is a small laundromat in the hotel for which you need 100 yen coins. They couldn't help me with change. I had to go to a convenience store.||I asked what the best way is from the hotel to Narita Airport. I was told to look on the internet (what a GREAT idea!).||I asked them to print my boarding pass for my flight home and was told to go to a convenience store and print it there. At this point I put my foot down. Do you have email in the office? Yes. Do you have a printer? Yes. Well give me the email address and print it for me, which they did BUT on handing it over he said 'This is not a service we offer should you ever come back to our hotel.'||When I checked out I asked them to call a taxi for me. They referred me to a QR code and said I had to order it myself. When I opened the QR code it said I had to order the taxi 3 hours in advance or call. My sim card didn't allow me to call so I asked the hotel to call. That they refused to do and said that I should hail a taxi on the street.||Eighteen days and no service, no contact, no hospitality, nothing!||2. It has to be the worst breakfast I have ever had in an hotel: a greasy toasted cheese on very soggy white bread and a coffee or tea,...
