Oreno Yakitori Oimachi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I don't know if it was because we are foreigners, but waiting over an hour for 2 skewers while every other table gets served their food quickly was not nice. Food was ok but there are many better (and way cheaper) options. The menu has very tiny letters at the bottom (and ONLY in Japanese) where it says the table has a 350¥ fee and for some reason we got it charged twice, when complaining the waiters just pointed at the tiny letters and feigned ignorance. Usually Ore no branches are pretty packed. This was a quiet Monday, and early, so the place felt nice and intimate. Tables are close so if a lot of people it will feel crowded. The food was good. Recommend the fois gras and daikon. Rich and powerful flavors. The champagne looked like a good deal ... but was a Monday night!...

Pretty crowded place on Sunday evening. food is good, but a bit too salty for my taste. They offer a very good bit of everything when it comes to drinks. I had the Naebasan from Niigata (Japanese Sake), which is my recommendation. Try not to get the seat at the door since it will be pretty cold everytime...
