I was in Tokyo for a month studying and the owner Raj, the 2 chefs and the waitress basically fed me for the whole month.
Every time I went in they were welcoming, friendly and attentive and even offered me extra snacks and drinks on hot days. The service is fast, and the cooks will even write little messages on your curry! One day the store hadn't opened yet and I hadn't known, but they still invited me in and made me food. ๐ฅน
The food was extremely good, with a variety of both veg and non-veg options. They would even check what level of spiciness that you wanted for the food. Food sets were cheap and had a lot of variety, including: salad, a drink, a starter snack, a curry and either rice or naan. They also had other Nepali and Indo-chinese options.
I ended up bringing over some of my friends to Osewa and they all ended up liking the cuisine just as much as I did. I recommend the Mango lassi, which all of my friends liked as well.
Highly, HIGHLY recommend Osewa dining with it's friendly atmosphere and delicious Nepali/Indian cuisine. Will definitely be going there again next time...

However the menu is fairly standard for a Nepali Indian place. The TV was slightly jarring, but maybe just unlucky for the program. It changed to something more relaxing before I left. Fast service and very attentive, though it was late lunch time on a weekend and quiet.
The base of the curry was thick and the ingredients were generous. Though the spice scale was narrow, it was strong and tasty. The naan was slightly sweet but with an unusual flavor that somehow reminded me of pita bread. Not large, but all you can eat. One was enough for me, though I considered a second. The salad was above average. Overall I'm going to call it a high four stars, largely on...
ย ย ย Read moreVisiting Japan for 2 weeks and my husband & I were craving spicy as Japanese cuisine is not spicy. If you like Indian cuisine, this place is a must! We eat Indian regularly so know the difference in quality. On top of incredible flavor of food, the prices and hospitality were superior. The lunch menu options were perfectly curated and you can pick your spicy level. The chai was great as well! We were so hungry I forgot to snap pictures unfortunately. Would highly...
