Sushi Kuon — Restaurant in Tokyo

Brought here by a friend who grew up in this suburb of Tokyo. We were treated to a mouthwatering seasonal selection of sashimi and sushi. Have has sushi in many different restaurants in Japan including to the no.2 ranked sushi restaurant but still feel this was the best experience. Drinks are served in cut crystal glasses which were made by the chef's father and are each beautiful art pieces. It is likely to be difficult to get the full experience if not fluent in Japanese but the staff are very hospitable and the food is superb. The restaurant includes a bar counter and private tatami room (with your own chef) downstairs plus a larger western style private room upstairs.
