Takakuramachi coffee shop Musashimurayama — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is a nice place to relax and chat while drinking coffee and eating. However, if you're a glutton like my husband and me, this isn't a place where you can stay full for long. It is also priced higher than expected for the portion size. My husband got a sandwich for around 800 yen - just the sandwich. We could have went to the conbini for a much cheaper sandwich.

I ordered their seasonal seafood cream risotto pie that comes with a side salad. The salad dressing was actually really tasty - savory with a slight vinegar kick. The thing I loved the most about this place was the atmosphere. The ambience was beautiful. The service was nice too. I got a limited time offer of garlic rice. It came with a salad and I loved the taste. The dish was 1500 yen though which I thought was a bit overpriced. They have the amount of calories mentioned on the menu so that was helpful as well. I saw some people working. They provide free WiFi which is useful too. They offer 50% on some drinks when ordered a second time. I will definitely go back to this...

My wife introduced me to Takakura Machi Coffee, a great place for breakfast near Yokota Air Base. We enjoyed great coffee, delicious eggs Benedict, and fluffy pancakes. The atmosphere was calming and the cafe has a great selection of reading material. I instantly noticed that the owners are fans of the Beatles.
