Amazing and Delicious Restaurant!

The owner was incredibly kind to us! We arrived around 8 PM, famished, and stepping into this restaurant felt like heaven.

Firstly, the owner didn’t speak English, but she made every effort to help us order and understand what we wanted. Her dedication was much appreciated 😇

Secondly, the food was outstanding! The sushi was probably the best I’ve ever had, the fish was so fresh as if it was caught the day itself. The sashimi were tender and not overly fishy, their presentation was very impressive.

Important to note: the restaurant is quite small, with two tables (one for four, one for eight) and six chairs at the counter. Despite its size, it felt cozy and welcoming.

Imagine that you run a sushi restaurant with your husband. It is Friday night and early (19:00). There is no one else in your restaurant until a party of 8 walks in. 5 of them are children and no one speaks much Japanese. How do you say nightmare in Japanese? That was my group tonight. In some locations we might be lucky to be politely turned away. These hosts were incredibly gracious, kind and patient with us. We had a wonderful meal and everyone enjoyed the experience. Specifically, we ordered salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and eel. We also had some Cucumber making and a few other smaller bites. We spent less than 15000¥. We chanced upon this restaurant on our first night in Nakano. It has been the most memorable experience on our travels yet. The food here is great, extremely high quality and lovely service. Don't worry about not speaking Japanese, the chef Hiroshi, is happy for you to name a price you're comfortable with and he'll prepare a meal accordingly.
