Tou-Tou Higashinakano — Restaurant in Tokyo

Fun place to hang out with coworkers for happy hour. They have an unlimited option of drinks from a set menu for 90 minutes. I believe it also includes food, but you have to order the dishes. Everything is listed in Japanese, so I wasn’t able to order anything without enlisting help from the locals. The food is both Japanese and western.

The sashimi was extremely fresh and buttery, and the fried fish was also soft and tender. Someone told me that they source their fish directly from he fish market, so it’s of very high quality.

The risotto had chunks of tender beef, and the chicken wings were a bit too spicy for my taste.

One of my favorite restaurants in Higashi-Nakano, and one if the few that are open all day for lunch and dinner. Affordable and satisfying. I’m not normally a huge fan of Italian/Japanese fusion, but these guys do it well. There’s another sister restaurant in Nakano, but this one has the same menu and tends to be less crowded.

Loved the meal. The Warm Spoked Salmon with Arugula pizza was so, sooo good. The other half of the pizza was margarita. It was good but, definitely upstaged by the smoke salmon half.
