Torihira-chan — Restaurant in Tokyo

This place has such a huggggeeeee variety of seafood, shellfish options. There are english, Korean menu available as well. This place serve sushi, donburi, shellfish, ala carte dish, appetizers, sashimi, maguro (tuna and served in a bucket too. The bucket is just slightly bigger than a human hand trying to grab the top), fish heads, grilled meat etc etc etc.

According to the menu, their fish is sourced from markets and fisherman across Japan and is rich in nutrients. You can enjoy a wide variety of seafood bowls available only at lunch.

Oh and there's all you can drink 🍺 with a set of appetizers at a price of 3000¥ for 2 people just like a worth izakaya. After travelling around tokyo, so far this is the most worth when it...

I decided to give this place a go on a lazy Monday on the tail end of a 3-day weekend. It's well lit, and the counter seating made it an easy sell for people flying solo.

Sad to say the experience was not good. The skewers were over salted and barely edible. The potato salad lacked any punch. The rest of the menu looked underwhelming so I skipped them.

Hard pass...

A typical izakaya with many options on the menu. We tried many of them and they were all very tasty, so the quality / diversity / price ratio is quite good.
