tbh I didn't plan to get ramen on this day. I wanted to grab a yummy meal set over at Shokudo Debeko in the evening so I came early to hang around the area. While killing time, I noticed that I have Hayashimaru bookmarked so might as well make a visit. My portion of noodles was actually the small size as I was worried that I wouldn't be able to fit more carbs later, but this was really good I kinda wish I went for the regular size lol. These chewy noodles were very enjoyable to slurp and this niboshi shoyu dipping broth accompanied them perfectly. Hayashimaru is known for their wontons so I had to get the mixed variant which came with two shrimp wontons and two pork wontons; they didn't disappoint. These were plump, juicy and well-seasoned. You can order the amount of noodles in units of noodle balls (tama). I’m a pig so I ordered 2 tama. But you can order 1.5 tama or less.
