WABOKU CAFE TOKYO — Restaurant in Tokyo

My wife found this spot, and we figured we would give it a shot. Burgers and coffee sounded different.

I had the iced cafe mocha, and she the iced chai tea latte. Surprisingly, both were great. Being 34 degrees outside, it was quite refreshing so have iced caffeinated beverages. The mocha wasn’t super sweet, which I appreciated.

Now the burger… I thought it was great. For a cafe serving wagyu burgers alongside coffee? Didn’t think it would be as good, but it surprised us. I had the burger with the over medium egg, and my wife the Colby Jack burger.

The fries (extra crispy) is what we both got, and they were good. Smaller cut, but with the better grain salt for seasoning helps set it apart from your standard fries.

Altogether, great experience. Very relaxing atmosphere, and the customer service was great. It’s about a 5 minute drive from the station, and 10 minute drive from Yokota’s West gate. For a more solid “brunch” option, we will be going here again.

Also, they do have English menus… which makes everything...

This small, cozy cafe has a charming beach-inspired interior that creates a unique and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the Aran Colby Jack Cheeseburger and a Chai Tea Latte. The burger was excellent — the meat was perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the Chai Tea Latte as much; it was too sweet for my taste.

For dessert, I tried the Green Tea Baked Cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious. I also noticed that the other dishes being served around me looked just as appetizing. The service was courteous and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

3回目の来店。This was my third time stopping by. 最初はチャイラテ。このチャイラテのスパイシーな香りがとても気に入って、2回目は大好きなフィッシュバーガーがあるか探したところアランフィッシュバーガーという竹炭のバーガーをメニューに発見！テイクアウトで自宅で人目を気にせずゆっくりと味わいました🍔🐟今回は3回目。散歩していて何気なく足が向かいました。 朝はモーニングメニューをやっていて、写真のチーズトーストを注文。これもまた好みでメープルをかけて頂くスタイルで個人的には朝のゆったりとした時間にぴったりの美味しいメニューでした。珈琲の香りも感じながら素敵な暖かい朝食になりました。ありがとうございます。また利用させていただきます。☕️(写真と動画は朝イチの利用者が少ない時に撮らせて頂きました。)

On my first visit I tried the chai latte and instantly fell in love with its spicy aroma. For my second trip I went hunting for a fish burger—my personal favorite—and spotted an “Aran Fish Burger,” a charcoal-bun creation on the menu! I grabbed it to go so I could savor it at home without any distractions. 🍔🐟

Today was visit number three. I was out for a walk and my feet just drifted there. In the mornings they run a breakfast menu, so I ordered the cheese toast you see in the photo. It comes with a little jug of maple syrup, which is exactly how I like it. For me, it was the perfect, easygoing breakfast to ease into the day. The aroma of the coffee drifting over made the whole thing feel warm and welcoming. Thanks again—I’ll definitely be back. ☕️
