First comment is that the Google Maps directions are quite bad, which probably explains some of the confusion about the hours, too. Google asked me to confirm the hours, but isn't showing what it thinks the hours are at that point. So Google Maps guides you to a back street with no access to the cafe. I have noticed the place a number of times, so I was sure it was existed, but I had to circle the block to get in from the main street on the other side.
About 40 seats in an irregular layout with a lot of interesting old decorations and music, but largely negated for me by the tobacco, which is why I reduced it to three stars. Ashtrays everywhere. However I decided to bump it back up to four stars for the friendly atmosphere and the happy crowd. Also helpful they had Wi-Fi and the smoke wasn't too dense. No charging that I could see. I could have gone for the outside table to avoid the smoke, but it was already taken.
