Yoshinoya Koiwa — Restaurant in Tokyo

My son and I visited this restaurant in early afternoon, when it was completely empty - by the time we left, there were only another three customers, so it was not busy. We were impressed by the cleanliness and the choice of options. We were greeted with a glass of water and the order arrived quickly once we made our choice. The food was tasty and just right for what we wanted.

The price is good and the menu easy to understand, even for someone like me who has next to no Japanese language skills. My son, on the other hand, has taught himself the language and discussed choices with the staff member, who was efficient and courteous.

It was a good experience and I hope to visit this or other Yoshinoya locations as we travel in...

JR小岩駅北口を出てまっすぐ蔵前橋通り沿いにある牛丼チェーン吉野家です。駅の近くであれば南口店のほうが駅を出てすぐなので近いですがたまたま夜歩いていたので訪問。

肉だく牛カレーと生卵をいただきました。

肉だく牛カレー、カレー自体がうたってる通り玉ねぎの甘みを感じさせるつくりになっており、肉だくだと牛皿が持ってあるような感じで味も内容もチェーンとしては十分かなと感じます。

店員さんの接客もよかったのですが驚きだったのは深夜1時までの営業になっていたこと。24時間だと思って気にせず入ってましたが時間ギリギリだったみたいで、あとから入ったお客さんの中には断られてしまった方もいました。

まあ無理に24時間やる場所でもないという判断なのかもしれませんが、ぱっと見営業時間が外からわからないので自分みたいな頭の中身がアップデートできてない人間は気にせず勘違いするだろうなと思います。

さっき、ひさびさに吉野家の牛丼いただきました。 対応してくれたバイトっぽいお兄さんがなかなかの逸材でしたw 入店20秒でテンション(私の)だだ下がり😑 その後、40秒で、二度と吉野家で飯食わないと決意させていただきました😬

多分何かの罰で自分にもっとも不向きな接客業務をさせられてたんだと思います🤔

牛丼食べさせるだけでこんなに人を不愉快にさせるスキルはなかなかのものです👍
