Absolutely fantastic place! I was in search of a good "kakigori" (shaved ice) shop in the area, and this place was beyond my expectation.

I ordered their Plum Kakigori and it was delightful! The sauce they use is made fresh from actual fruit and tasted very natural and fresh. Some shops would overly use sugar and ruin the natural flavor and sweetness, but this place was completely different. The ice was really fluffy and melted in a split second as it got in my mouth. On a hot day like when I went, it's a pleasant feeling. If you want something tangy with some sweetness, their Plum Kakigori is your choice. However, it may not be offered as I heard that they change their selections frequently.

Also, I must emphasize that the interior of the shop is comforting. Because they only take reservations for dining in, the place wasn't crowded or hot. It was rather very quiet and soothing. Although the interior has got the western furniture, the atmosphere oozed Japanese beauty and feeling. My mind was at ease the entire time I was there.

Make sure to call at 10:00 am, when they start taking reservations, because the available slots will all be filled by noon, the time they actually open the...

A very cute, quaint store in Kunitachi famous for traditional Japanese sweets and shaved ice. I was surprised to hear that customers would order more than one bowl in one sitting, but went ahead and also ordered two bowls with different flavors.

The restaurant is small with limited seating, but because of that the owners are very kind and attentive to each customer.

Despite the summer heat, as a total shaved ice novice I got a little chilly after my first bowl and they kindly offered me hot tea before I asked, and was so grateful for looking out for me.

The shaved ice were so flavorful, and they have a few menu items that change with the seasons.

A great way to beat the Japanese summer heat and definitely will be coming back to try...

マイナス点から先に記載をしますが、駅からのアクセスが不便であること、基本的に予約を行わないとスムーズに入店ができない。の2点くらいです。

かき氷はふわふわで、味も豊富なうえ自家製のソースやあんこなど何度行っても食べ飽きないです。 定番のものがずっとあるわけでは無く、仕入れた果物などに合わせていろんな行くたびにいろんなソースが堪能できます。 地元の人以外が通うとなると少し立地的に大変ですが 事前に電話予約をしておけば待たずに食べれますので 夏場の暑い日など、ぜひ堪能してもらいたいです。

もう1点おすすめは 最近はお正月の期間限定になってしまっているようですが、たい焼きがおすすめです。 昔は屋台で国立市内のいろんな場所で販売をされていたのですが、お店を構えてからはそういったこともなくなってしまい もう数年食べていなく残念に思っていたのですが お正月の期間限定ですが復活していることを知り、先日頂きました！ あんこが甘すぎず、水分が多めでやわらかなのですが 粒あんの皮の触感がアクセントになりとてもおいしいです。 いわゆる養殖たい焼きではなく、一つ一つの型で焼いているため、皮がパリッとしているのに柔らかさもあり 個人的にはこちらのたい焼きは都内でも1，2を争うおいしさだと思っております。

また、お店のご主人と奥様お二人ともとても感じがいい方で いつも笑顔で柔らかい雰囲気で、お店自体が安心できる空気感があります。 常連さんやご近所のおばさんが多いときは、そういった方達が少々うるさいときはありますが… お近くに住まわれている方や、立川や国分寺に住んでいらっしゃる方がいましたら是非一度足を...
