Mister Donut — Restaurant in Tomakomai

I had some time to kill while waiting for my bus to the port and decided to have lunch here. It’s a medium sized shop, but they have plenty of options for food, including donuts, pastries, hot dogs and even pasta. We had a small selection of 2 donuts, some cake pops, a shrimp pastry and an egg sandwich. Everything was yummy. Service was really friendly, as we 2 dumb tourists speak little to no Japanese, I was expecting almost no interaction and only paying but the cashier lady was super friendly checking with us if we were not allergic to shrimp, wanting to heat the food, explaining the ingredients in the drinks we order even without us having to ask. 平日午前に店内で飲食しました。 年配の方が多く、座席は結構混み合っていました。 店員さんの対応とても良いです。

トレイに乗せられたドーナツ、よく見るとトレイにトレーシングペーパーのような薄い紙(ミスド食べたことある方ならわかると思います)が敷いてあり、その上にドーナツなんです。

あれ、お皿は…？

以前、と言っても何年も前ですが、他のお店ではドーナツはお皿に乗っていたと思うのです。 薄ーい紙は敷いてあるものの、ほぼトレイにそのまま乗っているような気がしてなんだか気になる。 お皿頂けますかと店員さんに声をかけると「お皿…ですか。わかりました」と言う反応で、忘れたわけではないようです。 もしかすると気にならない人も多いのかもしれません...

店員の態度少し悪いかな。 レジのとき、金ぶん投げられるし、飲み物持ってきてもらったときも、トレー乱雑に置かれたし。 店内でじゃがりことかポテトチップス食べながら勉強してる子供がいたのに見てみぬフリもしてるし、なんか全てにおいて不潔です。 さらに、Dポップが詰め放題って知らなくて、スカスカの状態でレジに出しても若い店員は何も教えてくれず。 つい最近、40代くらいの店員が「詰め放題なんでいっぱい詰めてください」って丁寧に教えてくれた。 若...
