I got a really good cup of coffee here. The price is a little high (¥430, I think, for a small cup of black coffee) but it was very strong and they hand made it on the spot. I didn’t eat-in, but the atmosphere is nice and very close to the station.
Of course, the excellent name is another main reason to come here! Formerly, Tottori was the only prefecture in Japan that had no Starbucks. Some entrepreneurial soul created “Sunaba” coffee instead, which sounds both like “Sand place” as well as the Japanese pronunciation of Starbucks coffee! Read moreReally not worth your time. Went for a morning toast set as shown on the menu and....rolls came out instead of toast. Luke warm rolls. The salad was meh at best, clearly not fresh. The boiled egg was prepared poorly and didn't peal properly as a result. Coffee was passable but nothing special.
Staff was fine, but ambiance of the place is horrible. it feels like a k-mart Starbucks, which is already not exactly a classy joint with soul. You'd be better off with a calorie mate from Family Mart for breakfast than this place which is clearly just a tourist trap.
