Cabbaton — Restaurant in Toyohashi

My go-to ramen shop when I'm in Toyohashi. The quality is consistent, and the specials don't disappoint.

Doesn't hurt that they seem to hire bright-eyed and bushy-tailed young people on their staff either 😂

What really sets this place apart, though, is the philosophy behind their ramen. The classic ramen comes with a healthy serving of cabbage.

In general, ramen's main weakness as a dish is that it doesn't usually give you enough greens to be truly healthy. So it's wonderful to have an establishment that focuses on fixing that weakness.

I had never imagined ramen and cabbage could go so well together (I'm not even a huge fan of cabbage) but it's a perfect combination!!

Not only that, but Cabbaton's ramen taste delicious with its great seasoning (not too strong, not too bland), the fried rice is also amazing and I definitely recommend trying the gyouza with their yuzu sauce!
