Italian Kitchen VANSAN AEON Shin Urayasu — Restaurant in Urayasu

Visiting Japan for the first time and we stumbled upon this place by accident. We were looking for a spot that sold ramen AND other items but for some reason we landed here after looking at the outside menu. It a minute for everyone to decide on what they wanted but once we settled on things, the food came out in an appropriate time frame. The first thing to arrive was the Truffle Cheese Gnocchi. OMG!!! This dish was small but mighty, they mix it in a cheese ball before adding it to your plate and it was heavenly! We also tried the Truffle Cheese Risotto, the Margarita & Quattro Formaggi Pizza (half & half) and for dessert we had the Caramelized Banana Nut Pancake and Broiled Cheesecake. This is on the top floor of the Aeon shopping Mall. One of several restaurants here that established themselves since the refurbishment. We've tried many of the restaurants and most are reasonable. The food is generally ok but this is the first time we've visited this restaurant. They have a set lunch menu and with an option to choose from the main menu but just the spaghetti selection. Everything else on the main menu is only available in the evening.

The 'service' dish arrived and it was nicer than I expected. Simple entrees. We shared the uni and cream sauce spaghetti and anchovies and peperoncino. The uni and cream sauce wasn't bad although a little salty for us. But the anchovies and peperoncino spaghetti was just too salty. I couldn't...

This is a scam! The pizza couldnt be farther from the one in the picture. We actually thought it was a joke, its like crackers with ketchip and some cheese. We were served 45 minutes after being seated while the table next to ours, which came 30 minutes after us was srved food 5 mins after seating. absolutely unacceptable as my kids are already complaining because they are starving. We got a burnt undertopped joke of a pizza after waiting 45 minutes! horrible. They even overcharged us for 3 people but we got the same amount of food for 2 people. Never ever coming back.
