Delicious food and great service run by two people! If you can, sit in front of the kitchen and watch the chef at work. He's happy to engage and can learn lots. He lived in Italy for a number of years and came back to his hometown because of the C word. Everything we had was really good and I'm pretty sure everything else will be good too. Excellent, true Italian food from Tuscany. I'm Italian, born and raised, and I recognise the flavours and the processes to be authentic. I especially loved the trippa Tuscan style (with cannellini beans and tomatoes) and the pici with wild boar ragu. Been here about 5 times this past year and every time I am blown away by the food and the staff. The restaurant is a two man operation with a chef who lived in Italy for a few years and a waiter who goes above and beyond! This time we tried the Gorgonzola pasta and wild boar tagliatelle, both were fantastic. My husband used his bread to wipe the plate clean 😆. Love this hidden gem...
