Delicious food and great service run by two people! If you can, sit in front of the kitchen and watch the chef at work. He's happy to engage and can learn lots. He lived in Italy for a number of years and came back to his hometown because of the C word. Everything we had was really good and I'm pretty sure everything else will be good too. Walnut and Gorgonzola salad was probably the best I've had in Japan as usually the cheese is past it. This was perfect. The wild boar pasta was delicious and pasta is more like udon in thickness. Ask the chef the story. Meat ball was also amazing. Top it off with a grappa di moscana. Great meal for New Year's Eve.

Been here about 5 times this past year and every time I am blown away by the food and the staff. The restaurant is a two man operation with a chef who lived in Italy for a few years and a waiter who goes above and beyond! This time we tried the Gorgonzola pasta and wild boar tagliatelle, both were fantastic. My husband used his bread to wipe the plate clean 😆. Love this hidden gem in Utsunomiya.

Excellent, true Italian food from Tuscany. I'm Italian, born and raised, and I recognise the flavours and the processes to be authentic. I especially loved the trippa Tuscan style (with cannellini beans and tomatoes) and the pici with wild boar ragu. The chef has spent time in Italy where he learned how to cook this kind of food without concessions to external influences. I will go back and I will try...
