Grand Bleu Mimura — Restaurant in Wakayama

We came to Grand Bleu Mimura without a reservation because we had just gotten into town on vacation and hadn't properly planned ahead on what we would do for dinner. They seated us without hesitation, and what followed was the most surprising and amazing dining experience of our lives.

We chose the less expensive set meal option, and for the incredibly reasonable price of 4400 Yen (about $30), we received an inventive, beautiful, and delicious 5-course meal. It was something you could normally expect to pay three times as much for anywhere else.

I just had a lovely dinner at Grand Bleu Mimura. It was such a surprise because we hadn't planned anything before arriving and just chose the closest place to our hotel. The waitress was so kind and helpful and was able to explain the choices despite the language barrier. The food was so so good! Each course was both delicious and plated so so beautifully.
