Fantastic views during the cherry blossom season with a nearby temple (shrine?) that is picturesque both outside and from the inside. The ascent looks difficult when you look at the stairs but many devotees power through the climb. When you get to the top, you will have to pay 300 yen to enter. When you turn around, this beautiful view of the sea greets you, as if to say “Otsukaresama” for climbing all the way to the top.

And it is not even crowded like Kyoto and Osaka. We came here because we were headed towards Takozushiyama, which was a pleasant area for a hike and hanami. To get there, we took a bus from Nankai...
