I lost my phone while dining at this restaurant and only realized it after shopping briefly at the store across (Seria). I rushed back to the restaurant and politely asked to check my seat, but the staff refused, simply saying nothing was there. I went through all my belongings three times, even ran to the restroom to double-check—still nothing.
When I asked again to search the restaurant, I was finally allowed to look around my seat, but not beyond that. When I asked to check other areas, I was coldly shooed away as if my concern didn’t matter at all. I stood in front of the restaurant, anxiously going through my bags again. I knew the phone must still be in the restaurant.
The information desk was closed, so I went upstairs to another store for help. Thankfully, a kind staff member helped me call the lost and found center, but they said nothing had been reported. I was already in a state of panic.
Back on B1, I turned to the staff at Seria for help. They were considerate, checked their lost and found, and even called the center again. Still no luck. At this point, I was nearly having a panic attack, and I showed them a translated message saying my phone must be in the restaurant.
Just when I was about to ask them to contact the police, and while I stepped away to update my friends, a staff member from Saizeriya suddenly came out holding my phone—without saying a single word. No apology. Nothing.
I walked away with anger, disappointment, and complete loss of respect for the staff here. Everything about how this situation was handled was wrong. I received absolutely no apology, and the way I was treated felt dismissive and dehumanizing. As someone on the very first day in Wakayama, this is off to a bad start.
This experience has shattered my trust in this restaurant. I will never return. I deserve a...
Read moreI got here rather late, around 8:30 pm, the place was packed with middle-school kids, hence, the noise level so high. It’s hard to believe it’s Japan. Yes, it’s freaking affordable but I would not recommend this place if you were looking for fine dining in Wakayama. My side dishes came first, after waiting for sometime, then, finally my main...

Food is reasonably priced, pizzas are between 400 and 500 yen and pasta is between 400 and 600 yen. All-you-can-drink soft drinks is only 200 yen. They have a large menu to select from. Highly...
