Picked this hotel as it was few mins walk from Wakayama JR station. Rooms were small and toilets functional but tiny. Rooms were relatively clean but saw dust balls on the tea packets. Had a musty smell in room. Toiletries available in the bathroom. Do not get the rooms near the lifts as the walls are paper thin and could hear the lifts moving up and down all night.||Reception and staff were friendly and helpful, and conversant in English. ||Near the hotel were some good restaurants, a pharmacy and decent shopping malls. There was a convenience store within walking distance as well. Inter city bus station was just outside the hotel but the limo bus to Kansai airport was some distance...
