Update 30oct. My mumy liked the place so much we went again, this time for dinner. The tables and floor are indeed sticky most probably due to the open kitchen concept. Had the hamburger gratin (small portion of pasta and spinach underneath) and fried prawns curry. Absolutely delicious. 29oct. Cosy place with a fireplace. They have free flow coffee and tea both hot and cold. Open kitchen concept, the smell can get to your clothes n hair but they provide freshener spray at the door. Food portion is big, bread is buttery, main courses taste good but personally I feel it can do with more flavor. Wanted to have creme Brulee but it was sold out by the time I finished my mains and decide to order it. I don't think they make alot. And I was there at 11.15am. Suggest to order together with main instead of ordering later.

Fantastic restaurant. Delicious and large dishes, amazing chef, great service. A spirit of French food with Japanese produce. Such a wonderful meal and a change - we'd been craving for grilled scallops (it's often fried, or in tempura here) and we finally had them here. The bouillabaisse and the sole meunière were also excellent and all dishes come with a soup, a salad, bread (or rice), and a dessert. Don't miss it while you stay in Wakkanai.

We stayed at Wakkanai 3 days and went here twice. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Love that they have free beverages. Service was fantastic. It seems to always full, so make a reservation to be safe. Apple pie is a must!

Perhaps the only French-like restaurant in the city of Wakkanai. The chef is the owner running 90% of the kitchen. One girl as a floor staff so when it is packed, the waiting time and table service become a bit awful! Prices are reasonable in terms of the contents as they are all set meals, and each meal comes with all-you-can-drink soft-drink. For taste, from A to F, I would give a B-. And I would give a D for the cleanness of the tables as I found each of them is quite “sticky” on the surface. BTW, they would accept credit cards but if you do pay this way, most of the time the...
