Janbooshidorizushi Hino Honten — Restaurant in Yokohama

Sushi lunch was good, very good in fact. The fish was superb, tempura still warm and the rest was excellent with the food in the set. Cleanliness of the place is where issues are to be had, big issues at that! The table was clean but the edges of it and surrounding areas were storing years of previous customers leftovers... Not something one would fancy to see around where the raw fish is being served. The staff looked like prison guards, tense, all observing, like the customers are about to steal something (maybe they have a legitimate and ongoing theft of something), but more than likely the showa military rigid era is being preserved by the master still doing sushi (very old guy bossing everyone around). Still, despite all of the above, the meal was good and could have been better had the atmosphere been more friendly and less tense. Mh, maybe gaijin's arrival made them be that way? Believe it or not, that still happens here! Lastly, I don't know for what reason that chopping board was on display but I surely do hope that it isn't in use since ages ago, if that isn't the case, I can declare this place as a food...

【⚠️店長らしき男性の態度が非常に悪い。若い女性は注意です】 お寿司は美味しかったのですが、非常に嫌な思いをしました。

アラサー女性2人で行きました。紙に記入し店員に渡して注文する方式だったので、多分店長らしい年配の男性（大声で他のスタッフに指示していた人）に渡そうと何度か「すみません」と声をかけるも聞こえてるのか無視なのか反応せず。しばらく目線を送っていると「ちょっと待って💢」と言われ、紙をカウンターに置いておくと、「ほら貸して💢」と言われ乱暴に取られました。その後寿司を置かれる時も雑だし、タメ口聞かれるし寿司の味を感じないほど嫌な気持ちになりました。他の卓は中年の男性客が多かったのですが、男性客へは敬語使うし丁寧に仕事してました。アラサー女性2人で完全にナメられてるなと感じました。

他のスタッフの方々は全く問題ないです。みんなが店長の機嫌を伺い仕事しているみたいで、寿司の味に集中出来ないほど嫌な雰囲気です。

人を選んで態度を変えるような人間は心底大嫌いだし軽蔑します。もう２度と行きませんし、同年代で女性の知り合いにもここはやめといた方がいいと伝えたいと思います。
