McDonald's — Restaurant in Yokohama

My recent visit to McDonald’s in Japan was a delightful surprise, offering a dining experience that stands out from its American counterpart in several ways.

Burger Food Quality and Unique Menu Items: We ordered a range of items including the Hokkaido Four Cheese Teriyaki Burger (a limited-time offer), the Shrimp Filet-O, a classic Big Mac, fries, and spicy chicken nuggets. The standout was definitely the Hokkaido Four Cheese Teriyaki Burger—a delicious blend of savory teriyaki sauce and four types of cheese, creating a rich and unique flavor profile that you simply won’t find in the US. The Shrimp Filet-O was also a pleasant twist on the familiar, offering a light and crispy alternative to the usual beef or chicken patty.

Fries and Nuggets: A Cut Above The fries and spicy chicken nuggets were notably superior to those in the States. The fries were crispier and more flavorful, while the spicy nuggets had a satisfying crunch and a well-balanced heat. Both items seemed to be made with higher quality ingredients and prepared with greater care.

Politeness and Service The employees were extremely polite and attentive, greeting us warmly and ensuring our orders were correct. The service was efficient and friendly, contributing to a positive overall experience.

Cleanliness and Atmosphere The store was impeccably clean, with tables and floors well maintained. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a quick meal. The attention to detail in both food preparation and store upkeep was evident.

ドライブスルーを利用しましたが、バーガー２つ、ナゲットが入ってませんでした。 すぐ電話したが、全く繋がらず。

夕方、再度電話してやっと繋がり、家に返金しに来ると言った。

6時過ぎに今から出発すると電話が来たが、一時間近くたっても来ない。

晩御飯の支度して、子供たちも待ってる。

電話がかかってきたけど、家の場所がわからないと言うので、雨降ってる中、外に出て近くをウロウロした。

やっと着いて最初に言った一言は傘さしてもいいですか？ 車に戻り、傘を探したが見つからず。

そして私のところに来て、2020円返金します。申し訳ありませんでした。

これだけ？

雨のなか、出てきて頂いてすいません、とか、こっちの状況を聞き出すこともなく、平謝り。

大好きなマック、注文したものが入ってなくて子供は泣いてた。

電話やっと繋がっても、クレーム多くて、、、と言い訳してた。

夜もなかなか来なくて子供たちお腹すいてるのに待ってた。

全く誠意がなく、本当にガッカリ。

私も昔、食品関係でクレーム対応してたけど、すっごい怒ってるお客さんにひたすら謝り、お詫びの品物渡したり、、、 大変な仕事でしたよ。

食べようと思ってたのに食べれないって、どんな気持ちですか？ そういう気持ちをなだめるような言葉は全くなく、ただすいませんの一言。

マツイという男が電話対応、返金に来た。
