インド•ネパール料理 ニューさくら（NEW SAKURA） — Restaurant in Yokosuka

I've been here with my friends over 10 times now, and there's always something new to try. Everything we've tried has been delicious so far. The food has always been filling, but we also always get appetisers, curry, naan, and sometimes rice. Even being vegetarian, I'm able to order multiple choices and special highlights to the vegetable pakoda, which is so tasty, but sometimes a bit too oily/greasy. The pizza naan is also divine, and you could request it without meat.

Drinks-wise, the lassis are pretty delicious, with the exception of the vodka lassi, which was straight-up vodka. We've been sticking with the mango sour and other sours cos they're good, but not too much alcohol.

It's easily one of the best Indian places I've been to, and the waitress always has a smile on her face and is so nice...

My go-to for comfort food is always Indian cuisine, and anytime I check out a new place, I like to order chicken tikka masala. New Sakura is definitely worth going to if you’re in the area and looking for a proper curry. I ordered medium-level spicy, which the spice was well-balanced, allowing me to sweat a little while tasting the spices. The curry melts in your mouth, complimented by bits of fresh red onion on top. I paired it with the garlic rice and a mango lassi (as a dessert). Although I was the only one dining inside the restaurant for dinner, there were at least 10 Uber drivers coming in for pickup orders, which that in itself can tell you this is the spot to go! I’ll definitely be returning and trying out more...

I found this place by accident while exploring and I'm so glad I did. It's a small cozy place. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff speak both English and Japanese, so there were no issues with language barriers. It's unfortunately in an inconvenient location for me, but luckily they offer delivery through UberEATS!

I have teenage boys, who eat A LOT. Ordering food or going out can often be costly for us. Here, we often order 4 or more curries, biryani, naan, and then some. However, the price here is very affordable. So much so that we order at least twice a month.
