Lotteria — Restaurant in Yokosuka

For Americans living in Japan, this is like a Wal-Mart. Well, it's set up pretty much like our Wal-Mart's and they sell Wal-Mart bags. So pretty much, a Wal-Mart.

To others, it's a grocery store. And with good prices, and lots of inventory. Definitely worth a stop by if you need some quick snacks. I liked that they had individual servings of butter and kimchi. I'm sure they have other individual servings of things, but the butter and kimchi stood out for me.

After 21 yrs this place still taste the same! Not like McDs that keep changing how they make fries, nuggets, etc...and screwing it up. I commend the Lotteria staff for their commitment to their original taste. I wish there were more of these restaurants. As western corporations rapidly push our western stores, foods & products upon the ppl of Japan, i fear we will see more western stores like McDs and less brands native...

The dining area on 1st level looks out over the ocean and monkey island. Its nice on a fine day, usually quite and never crowded. The food from Lotteria whilst being burger store is decent and not expensive. If you crave a burger then this is a pretty good option...
