Best Yonezawa beef lunch in the area! We were waiting in a long line at a different place down the street and it wasn't moving after 20min on a Sunday, so came over to this place where there was no wait.

Was immediately welcomed in and guided to a fully private room. For about 2500 yen per person, we had a fantastic Yonezawa been yakiniku lunch! Service was impeccable and the meat was as good as Kobe-beef - just as the locals say! 100% recommended for anyone interested in trying...

I got confused and went into the wrong store on the left. It’s the same management though and they have each other on speed dial.

I wanted a course set but that’s only for 2 or more people. I ordered individual dishes, but I was still very satisfied. The yonezawa beef was the best I’ve ever had: not too fatty and rich, rich, rich in flavor. You order everything through a tablet and it takes some time for your food to come, so it feels like they make everything...

出張で初めて米沢に来たので、せっかくだから米沢牛を食べたいな、と思いながら駅に向かってるとなんだか素敵そうな店を発見。 レビューもこの辺では一番よかったのでおっかなびっくり入ってみることにしました。 まず、ビールを頼んで店の定番メニュー一位二位のシロとカルビを注文。 そしたら、感じの良い店長さんが「今日のおすすめメニューにのってる、中落ちカルビの方が美味しいですよ。」と、アドバイスしてくれました。 せっかくなのでそれをいただくことにしました。 もう、大正解でした。お肉の旨味がしっかりあるのに舌の上で脂が溶けました。 同じくオススメメニューから、ほほ肉のワイン煮を注文。ハーフサイズで480円とメチャクチャ安いのに、あり得ないくらい柔らかくて美味しい。歯がいらない、舌でつぶれました。 店長さん曰く１５キロのほほ肉を大鍋で１０本のワインで煮込んでるそうです。スープの部分はほぼワインだとか、そりゃ美味いわけだ。 最後にレバーを頼むと、「今日は良いレバーがあるんです。」と言って厨房から新鮮なレバーを持ってきてその場でスライスしてくれました。 レバーにありがちな臭みが全く感じられず本当に美味しかったです。 ビールとシロ、米沢牛中落ちカルビ、米沢牛レバー、大根サラダ、ほほ肉ワイン煮、しめて４０００円ちょっとでした。 配膳の店員さんに注意をするときも怒鳴ったりせず、丁寧にどうするとよかったか伝えていた所も好感触でした。 孤独のグルメのゴローさんのアームロック話の正反対のお店でした。 幸せな時間でした。本当に美味しかったです。...
