I highly recommend this place! It’s pretty underrated and a hidden gem in Yufuin.
It’s my first time trying chicken ramen, and this ramen shop didn’t disappoint.
This ramen restaurant is located a few minutes walk from the Yufuin station. It’ll be on your right side coming from the station. It’s easy to find and see as Google Maps is pretty accurate, and its location is in front of an open parking area.
A couple runs the ramen shop if my interpretation is correct. They offer only a few items on the menu, which is great cos you know it’s good cos they focus on a specialty dish. They also have an English menu, and the Japanese lady server speaks English.
I ordered chicken ramen butter. Its simplicity makes it unique, delicious, clear umami broth and succulent chicken meat. The butter and corn give it a balanced flavor. They also offer half ramen size if you want to try their other flavor without paying the full amount and get to taste test. I also tried the Yufuin cider, which is good, refreshing fizzy drink and the taste is not overpowering. It’s like a less-sugar sprite.
