Yakiniku Manyohken — Restaurant in Yufu

We nearly missed this little inconspicuous shop as it’s situated on the second floor with a small single wooden door on the street level. The decor was not appealing but the barbecue smell was very inviting. The waitress , probably the chef’s wife, was extremely friendly and welcoming. The beef was fresh and tasty. Soon our hungry stomach was satisfied. Please note that the food was best enhanced by a glass of cold beer especially the draft beer , not the oolong tea. We were surprised by the complimentary vanilla ice cream cones at the end of our meal offered by the lady owner that always smile . Lastly but not the least was the reasonable price we paid. Yakiniku is good, personally enjoyed their pork and beef! But most importantly the service provided by the hosts was excellent!

Chikako-san tsubarashi deshita! The food was well portioned and we'll paced. The drinks were strong enough to let you KNOW they were alcoholic but also let the drink have great flavor.
